About Me

“It is better to be a child of God
than king of the whole world.”
– St. Aloysius Gonzaga

I feel and enjoy God’s company like a little girl enjoys her Dad’s company. He is more real to me than my earthly father. I love Him and I tell him everything. In fact, He is my best friend. My relationship with Him proves priceless as I faced and overcame many daunting challenges which I share in my blog and book.

Early on in my life, I read a lot of Christian books especially picture bible stories bought for us by father. Following the saints in the scriptures, I talked to God in trust and with confidence. Innocently, and unconsciously, I imitated the Saints.  God is a father I talk to anywhere and at any time. He is my best friend, and confident. To date, I have survived many life hurdles, and enjoy great peace, and breakthrough as the result of that relationship.

However, as I opened to others about my personal relationship with God, I discovered that many Christians are yet to experience God personally. I do know that it is difficult to faithfully serve or love God without enjoying an intimate relationship with Him. subsequently, at different times, I felt the urge to help others to know God personally. But years passed with many challenges that gave me the reason not to answer the call.

In 2013, an incident happened that forced me to redefine my priorities.

That year, I got admitted to the ICU at Meharry General hospital Tennessee, after being sick for a while. The doctors discovered through a series of test that I had blood clots. These clots formed a web of blood clots on my right leg, and one of it had gotten to my lung.
(It appeared the blood clots have formed for some time, and I flew with the condition from the USA to Nigeria, and back when I attended my mother's burial in October 2012).
Thus, they checked me all day to ensure it doesn’t cost me my life.
To the amazement of health professionals, my vitals were normal throughout their monitoring. I stayed for six nights at the hospital. They told me I was lucky to be alive.
At about a week later, my young cousin who was sitting for her final exams in college suddenly died. Her brother ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of her death. It revealed that she died because of blood clots found in her brain.

The news sent a shock shiver down my spine. I realized at that moment that I received a second chance to live and that it must be for a reason.
I became determine through prayers, meditations, and soul search. I looked for and obtained spiritual help from many Catholic priests. I read books like, “Dark Night of the Soul,” by St. John of the Cross. “Mother Teresa: Come Be My Light: The Private Writings of the Saint of Calcutta” by Mother Teresa and Brian Kolodiejchuk, “Uniformity With God's Will by Saint Alphonsus Liguori, and many others.

All these helped me to gain discernment and clarity, and to pursue this mission.
